American Efficiency Services, LLC Contact: Wally Scherer American Efficiency Services Inspects Vacuum System at Petrochemical FacilityAugust 2006 – American Efficiency Services, LLC headquartered in Ellicott City, MD, has announced the successful inspection of two vacuum systems over the past two weeks for a major Petrochemical Facility. American Efficiency Services utilizes helium as a tracer gas to identify vacuum leaks, thereby reducing air ingress and increasing operational efficiency while improving the safety and quality of the product. The initial inspection was to determine the source of a vacuum leak
that was causing one of the critical systems oxygen levels to increase.
One by one, each component within the vacuum boundary was inspected by
American Efficiency Services’ Crew. Several cracks in the piping
were identified under the insulation of the system. The ability to exactly
identify the source of leakage allowed the facility to efficiently repair
the failures. The leaks were identified in less than one 12 hour shift. About American Efficiency Services |
